Hammersons’ Bull Ring and the Martineaux Galleries, owned by Land Securities and Henderson Investors, are to combine in one large £800m shopping complex.
Three new joint venture companies under the Birmingham Alliance will take over the project.
The joint scheme will be rolled out in three phases from next spring. It will cover nearly 250,830 sq m (2.7m sq ft) with more than 200 shops and department stores.
