Welsh Assembly Environment, Planning and Countryside Minister Carwyn Jones has made three new appointments to the Design Commission for Wales.
The new members are architects Alan Francis and Gerard Ryan and planner Wendy Hall.
Francis is founding-partner of Gaunt Francis Architects, Cardiff and London.
Hall is Principal Urban Designer with Newport City Council, having previously worked for companies in the UK and abroad as a landscape architect and urban designer.
Ryan has been employed since 1997 at Nicholas Hare Architects LLP, having worked as an architect the previous 10 years with Shepheard Epstein Hunter.
The Design Commission for Wales was established by the Welsh Assembly Government to champion better buildings, spaces and places.
