US law firm Debevoise & Plimpton is under offer to sub-let around 50,000 sq ft at 10 Aldermanbury Square, EC2 from JP Morgan.
The company has agreed to take two upper floors at the 327,000 sq ft building, paying a rent in the region of £47.50.
Debevoise & Plimpton instructed Jones Land LaSalle to look for around 60,000 sq ft of office space in the spring of this year after 14 years at Tower 42.
It took on assignment of an existing lease expiring December 2014 at £2.8m pa, equating to £55 per sq ft.
Also in the City this week, Japanese conglomerate Marubeni has placed around 27,500 sq ft under offer at Standard Life’s 95 Gresham Street, EC2.
It will take the second and third floors of the building paying a rent in the low £50s per sq ft, joining Monetise which occupies the fourth to seventh floors.
The ground floor of the building is also under offer, leaving just the first floor to be let.
