Independent lender Julian Hodge Bank wrote £110m in new business in 2015.
Lending varied from residential development loans to regional acquisition loans on commercial assets.
£30m was provided for projects in Wales, including Nextcolours development in Swansea which is a conversion of the Mumbles cinema and amusement arcade into retail outlets.
£11m was provided for a property conversion in central Birmingham as part of a permitted development right, and another £18m was provided for a residential development in London.
The lender found a particular niche in the Bristol and Bath area and also the South West.
