The Pollen Estate has appointed Knight Frank’s Julian Stocks as its first chief executive officer.
Stocks, who will perform the role on a part-time secondment from Knight Frank, has around 30 years’ experience in the property industry, having spent much of his career at JLL, and later becoming managing director of Tishman Speyer in London.
David Shaw will serve as non-executive chairman of the Pollen Estate, having relinquished executive responsibilities at the estate, to coincide with his retirement as the head of the Regent Street portfolio at the Crown Estate.
Stocks said: “Under David’s stewardship the Pollen Estate has established a clear strategy for its future. This strategy is based upon making Savile Row the finest street in the world for luxury tailoring and relaunching Cork Street as the leading destination in the world for modern and contemporary art gallery businesses.”
Shaw said: “The board of the Pollen Estate has unanimously chosen Julian Stocks to serve as the first chief executive officer in its 400-year history. He has been integral to the success of the Pollen Estate in recent years”.
