Jurys Hotel group is in talks to acquire its Dublin rival, the Doyle Hotel Group. The deal is expected to be worth between Ir£170m (£150m) and Ir£180m. The enlarged group would be named Jurys Doyle Hotel Group.
The deal would double the size of Jurys, creating a combined group of 28 hotels with turnover of more than Ir£130m and profits of Ir£35m.
Doyle owns seven hotels in Dublin, the Clifton Ford hotel in London and three properties in the USA.
