Just for Pets is set for further expansion across the UK as it aims to open an additional four sites by the end of the year. Target locations include Bath, Bristol, Bromsgrove, Cheltenham, Cirencester, Oxford, Stroud and Redditch.
Carter Jonas’s Bristol-based commercial property team was appointed to find suitable retail units of between 2,500 sq ft and 6,500 sq ft, although larger units will also be considered.
The move follows the pet retailer’s six new openings, totalling more than 39,000 sq ft of space, since Christmas 2020, including at Ventura Retail Park in Tamworth, Staffordshire, Leamington Shopping Park in Royal Leamington Spa, Warwickshire, and an acquisition in Witney, Oxfordshire, which is currently being fitted out.

Nottinghamshire-based Just for Pets, which currently has 21 branches trading, was acquired in October 2017 by Pedigree Wholesale, a family-owned distributor of pet products.
