Kadans given green light for Barton House at Abingdon Science Park

Kadans Science Partner has secured planning permission for Barton House, a new purpose-built laboratory and office building at Abingdon Science Park in Oxfordshire.

Barton House will accommodate up to four tenants, with tenures from 5,000 sq ft up to 25,000 sq ft. Flexibility was a core driver in the design inception, with structural grids, floor loadings, servicing and ceiling heights providing adaptable space.

The proposals include on-site parking for 75 cars and 60 cycle stands. The scheme will also bring forward communal and café space to the park.

Will Fogden, development manager at Kadans Science Partner, said: “The new scheme will help the science park continue to flourish and keep its position as one of the leading campuses in Oxfordshire.”
