London consultancy Kauffmans has appointed James Nicholls as a director in its capital markets team.
Nicholls joins from Avison Young, where he spent more than three years, working primarily with private investors from the UK and Asia. Prior to that he served as director at Colliers and Strutt & Parker.
In his new role, Nicholls will be charged with delivering advice within the Square Mile, as investment opportunities evolve beyond traditional office-centric models.
Marsha Rabinovich, co-founder and director of Kauffmans, said: “James is a key strategic appointment for the business. His deep understanding of investor priorities, combined with his track record of identifying opportunities, aligns with Kauffmans’ mission to maximise value for clients transforming mixed-use environments.
“Our next steps are to build our leasing and asset management teams further to bolster the full breadth of our services as the market continues to bounce back.”
Kauffmans’ recent projects include supporting Linea Properties in its submission for Shoreditch Works, advising Rocket Properties on its One Fairchild Street project and leasing 75,000 sq ft on behalf of Rathbones to Grant Thornton at 8 Finsbury Circus, EC2.
