KBC and Nama call in Treasury loans

Irish bank KBC will seek an order to wind up Treasury Holdings unless the troubled developer repays €200m (£160m) later this month under its guarantee of unpaid loans, according to the Irish Times.

Treasury Holdings was served notice on 29 June and has 21 days to pay KBC.

Nama has also issued a repayment notice to Treasury Holdings founders Richard Barrett and Johnny Ronan for €3bn each from guarantees from a €13.5bn loan.

Treasury is insolvent, with debts in the region of €2.7bn.
