Two services run by Kent county council’s property group at Kings Hill, West Malling, will soon be contracted out to private companies.
The £6m Kent Estate Management contract has been awarded to Mouchel Consulting, while the £4m Kent Environmental Consultancy contract goes to Babtie Group.
Both contracts start on 1 April and are for five years.
Kent Estate Management’s team of 25 surveyors and support staff provide property management, valuation and disposal services.
Kent Environment Consultancy provides landscape architecture, arboriculture and other environmental services.
