– Allianz sells portfolio to Goldman Sachs for €1.7bn – Corio, JP Morgan and Lehman Brothers active in Marseilles

– Allianz sold the €1.7bn Charlotte office portfolio in Germany to Goldman Sachs. Also in Germany, Daimler sold its DaimlerCity mixed-used asset in Berlin to SEB Asset Management for €1.4bn. Yields are estimated at around 4.3%.

– Marseille had a strong end to 2007 as three deals for assets in the city closed in December. Corio, Lehman Bros and JP Morgan all invested in the French city, with a total of €800m changing hands.

– Doughty Hanson sold a prime office project in Milan for €380m. The 95,000 m2 Maciachini centre was sold to Luxembourg-based investor Milareal and local developer Via Imbonati.
