A mixed-use development site in Birmingham city centre is set to become available after Knight Frank was instructed to bring it to the market by the landowner, Bass Leisure Retail.
Located at 28-37 Sheepcote Street, the 0.67ha (1.67 acre) site is close to Argent’s Brindleyplace and near Birmingham’s prime leisure pitch along Broad Street.
According to the council, the site could see residential, office, hotel, hostel and licensed and leisure uses.
Although the buildings along Sheepcote Street are Grade II listed, there is potential to open up the canalside frontage of the site.
Knight Frank is believed to be about to offer the site by private treaty, through an informal tender process.
