Knight Frank’s former head of West End investment and development, Ker Gilchrist has landed a job with Quintain Estates and Development.
Gilchrist will join Quintain in September as head of London investment.
He will report to investment director Nigel Kempner, and place a large focus on purchase and disposals advice for Schroders Investment Management – the manager of WELPUT.
The appointment comes five months after Gilchrist announced plans to resign from Knight Frank after 11 years. His clients included IVG and the Grosvenor Estate.
He previously worked at Savills and Jones Lang LaSalle.
Maxwell James, chief executive of Quintain, said: “We are delighted that Ker is joining us at such an exciting point in Quintain’s evolution as we continue to identify and acquire interesting opportunities for WELPUT, while building the profile of Quintain as a London specialist.”
