Kier Property and Miller Homes have been granted outline planning consent to redevelop 250 acres of farmland in South Wokingham.
The pair have received permission for 1,456 homes, a primary school and a neighbourhood commercial centre. Kier will develop 620 homes over the next few years, with Miller Homes building the remaining 836 homes.
Development will also include a new South Wokingham 2.7km single carriageway distributor road, and a 3m-wide cycle lane, between Finchampstead Road and Waterloo Road.
