Kier Property has announced a 2021 start for the construction of its Watford Riverwell regeneration in Hertfordshire.
It follows planning consent for the latest phase from Watford Borough Council at a virtual committee at the start of this month.
The 70-acre regeneration will deliver a new primary school, homes and employment space on former industrial land in partnership with Watford Borough Council.
The council approved plans for 142 family houses and 50 flats. The scheme comprises 35% affordable housing, with social and affordable tenures located in the terraced housing.
The joint venture partners will arrange for ground works this year, ahead of construction.
