Developer Bond City has awarded Kier the contract to develop its £53m St James project in Dover town centre in Kent.
The 159,915 sq ft project will include a six-screen Cineworld cinema, a 108-bedroom Travelodge hotel, restaurants and shops. Tenants will include Marks & Spencer.
Paul Abrahams, operations director, Kier Construction Southern, said: “We are delighted to be working with Bond City, Legal & General Property, and Dover District Council to deliver this major project. It is an important scheme for Dover and the area’s economy, and we will be building on our relationships with the local supply chain to help create valuable employment opportunities through the delivery of this key regeneration scheme.”
