King Sturge has strengthened its ties with the US east coast with the formation of Trinity Alliance.
Trinity Alliance links King Sturge with New Jersey broker The Garibaldi Group, and Gale & Wentworth, a New Jersey- based investor and developer.
The alliance has been formed through the recognition that the majority of King Sturge’s business from the US stems from New Jersey and New York. The tie-up will run in parallel with King Sturge’s existing US alliance with Corfac, of which The Garibaldi Group is a member. Corfac is a network linking 41 markets in the US and Canada.
King Sturge will source investment product for Gale & Wentworth, in the UK and Continental Europe and help secure development sites for G&W’s existing tenants in the US who are looking to expand in Europe. The three partners will fund and market the alliance but the companies are not putting equity into the venture.
“Gale & Wentworth is such a large investor that they have a good potential tenant base to work and link with,” said Richard Batten, investment director at King Sturge.
The Garibaldi Group is an 81-year-old broker, providing agency and property management services. It has offices in Chatham and Princeton, New Jersey.
G&W is private developer and investor which has a global portfolio of more than 2.7m m2. It is headquartered in Florham Park, New Jersey.
