King Sturge launches Scottish residential operation

King Sturge has launched a residential operation north of the border, as part of an ongoing expansion into the UK’s housing hot spots.

The new team, operating from the surveyor’s offices in Glasgow and Edinburgh, will be headed by Ed Seymour, formerly residential partner for King Sturge in Newcastle.

Seymour said: “We are already advising several clients on major residential schemes and are set to bring over two hundred units to the market in Glasgow alone this year.

“We are confident that the size and increasing dynamics of the Scottish residential market will enable us to create a profitable and sustainable business.”

This includes the £25m Green Park scheme on the south side of Glasgow, which is being marketed by the newly appointed Sam Gibson, formerly senior sales negotiator with countrywide.

King Sturge has residential offices in Manchester, Newcastle, Liverpool, Birmingham, Leeds, London, Bristol, Cardiff, Nottingham and Southampton.
