King Sturge to buy insolvency firm

  King Sturge is to buy Birmingham-based insolvency specialist Bache Treharne.   The 30-strong firm, headed by Peter Bache, is expected to complete in the next two weeks, after being in discussions with King Sturge for six months.   Mark Stupples, head of asset management at King Sturge confirmed that they were at the advanced discussions stage with the niche firm, but would not comment on staff or appointments.   It is thought that Bache would take on a national role but remain in Birmingham.   Bache Treharne has offices in London, Leeds and Dublin, and also provides conventional property services like agency, development, investment, valuation and auctioneer services.   helen.roxburgh@egi.co.uk
