Kingfisher and Home Bargains to shun furlough bonus

Kingfisher and Home Bargains have said they will follow Primark and John Lewis and refuse a taxpayer bonus to bring back staff.

The DIY group behind B&Q and Screwfix said that sales had maintained their momentum after reopening, with July like-for-likes at 18.7% ahead of last year.

Meanwhile Home Bargains(£) has introduced its own furlough arrangements.
