U.K. home improvement chain Kingfisher is selling a 70% stake in B&Q China to Wumei Holdings for £140 million in cash.
The deal, which is subject to the approval of the Chinese Ministry of Commerce, is expected to be completed in the first half of next year.
The sale marks the end of a year-long search by Kingfisher for a local partner for the loss-making business.
