King’s Cross Central hires first chief executive
Former Workspace director Leo Shapland has been appointed chief executive of King’s Cross Central Limited Partnership.
Shapland, who was executive director and head of portfolio management at Workspace Group, will take up the position in August and brings with him a wealth of asset management, investment and development expertise that the partnership said would be crucial for the next phase of the estate’s growth.
It is the first time the partnership has had a chief executive. The new role will see Shapland oversee the creation of a team focused entirely on the King’s Cross estate. He will also be responsible for strengthening a culture of customer excellence and building on King’s Cross’s position as a globally renowned place for residents and the local community, as well businesses and visitors.
