Sager Group and Cain International have secured a new leisure anchor at their £400m Islington Square development, N1.
Islington’s King’s Head Theatre will move from its current home at 115 Upper Street to a 250-seat auditorium, plus 85-seat studio, bar and other facilities at Islington Square.
The mixed-use project, which is scheduled for completion in autumn 2018, also includes 263 flats, 108 serviced apartments and 170,000 sq ft of shops and leisure space including a 48,000 sq ft Third Space gym and 22,000 sq ft The Lounge cinema, operated by Odeon.
