Kingsbridge gets the nod for Poole shed

Kingsbridge is on track to receive planning consent for a sustainable warehouse and manufacturing scheme in Poole in Dorset.

The planning committee of Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole Council has resolved to grant planning permission for a 207,000 sq ft scheme at Sopers Lane, Poole, on a 10.7-acre site formerly owned by Siemens.

Kingsbridge acquired the site in 2023. The first phase of the development will be a 106,000 sq ft manufacturing facility prelet to IMI Poole, which makes solenoid valves and pressure regulators.

IMI Poole plans to relocate 240 staff from its nearby Creekmoor facility.

The second phase of the development at Sopers Lane will deliver nine units of between 3,750 sq ft and 26,000 sq ft.

Subject to planning, development is expected to start in March,r with the first phase handover targeted for spring 2026.
