Knight Frank has appointed Alistair Elliott as senior partner and chairman.
He will start his new position in April 2013 following the retirement of Nick Thomlinson.
Elliott started his career at Knight Frank in 1983 and became salaried partner in 1989 before being appointed as proprietary partner in 1995.
Since 2006 he has been responsible for commercial property in the UK, focusing on office lettings and development.
