Knight Frank bolsters data centre valuation team

Knight Frank has expanded its global data centre valuations and consultancy team amid growing demand for the data centre market.

The most recent research from Knight Frank has found Manchester and the UK’s wider northern region is tipped to experience growth as a data centre hub.

The consultancy has hired Isobel Green as senior surveyor, who will work alongside Harry Hannam, who has joined as a senior research analyst. Green has previously spent three years at the government Valuation Office Agency, while Hennam had served for the Macquarie Group as an operations analyst.

In addition, Knight Frank has appointed Selda Selgjekaj as business support coordinator, with the team further supported by graduate Olamide Emiloju.

These appointments take Knight Frank’s data centres valuations team to 16 members globally. The team offers services in investment, site transactions and occupier advisory, in addition to valuation, consultancy and research. The team also advises leading financial institutions, streaming providers, data centre operators, developers and landowners.

Alex Burgoyne, head of data centre valuations at Knight Frank, said: “As the data centre sector witnesses expansion globally, we are growing the team in line with the market and bolstering our global remit.”
