Knight Frank boosts occupier service

Knight Frank has strengthened its UK-wide occupier advisory offer with a series of senior promotions and new appointments.

Richard Proctor, partner at Knight Frank, has been appointed head of UK occupier strategy and solutions, bringing together the firm’s existing occupier-facing services, including business rates, data centres, flexible office solutions, tenant representation, project management, workplace and strategic consultancy.

With more than 27 years of tenant representation and office agency experience, Proctor remains head of London tenant representation; however, his expanded role will see him focus on the team’s growth across the UK, collaborating with the firm’s 11 commercial offices outside of London.

He will be supported in his UK role by Julian Woolgar, who brings 28 years of tenant representation and office agency experience and 18 years at Knight Frank to the UK team.

Amanda Lim, partner and UK head of flexible offices, will be charged with expanding Knight Frank’s flexible office solutions London business across the UK.

She will continue to work with James Nicholson, who has been promoted to head of operations for UK occupier strategy and solutions. He is tasked with expanding and enhancing Knight Frank’s occupier digital platform and co-ordinating the growth of existing occupier relationships across the UK.

The London tenant representation team has also made two partner appointments. Sean Fraser, previously an associate director at CBRE in Hong Kong, where he specialised in transaction management for office occupiers across the Asia Pacific region, and Inesha Holt, who joined Knight Frank in 2022.

Proctor said: “We are bringing together our experienced occupier advisory teams from across the UK to offer our clients truly integrated solutions, from forward-looking strategic and workplace consultancy, in what is an ever changing occupier world, to business-critical energy and sustainability consultancy for all our clients.

“Our UK team, coupled with this market-leading research, will enable our clients to better understand and manage the growing complexity of work, workplace, real estate portfolios and underlying business strategy.”
