Knight Frank pairs up with Wincasa AG to launch Swiss office

Knight Frank has opened an office in Switzerland in partnership with Credit Suisse-owned Swiss agency Wincasa AG.

Wincasa AG was founded in 1999 and is a 100% owned subsidiary of Credit Suisse. It is the biggest real estate services company in Switzerland, with more than 600 staff.

It has 12 offices in the German, French and Italian speaking parts of Switzerland and covers core service lines including investment, landlord and tenant agency, valuation and property asset management.

The business was launched as the property and management arm of Winterthur Insurance. Key clients include Credit Suisse Real Estate Funds, Swiss Prime Site, AXA Winterthur and UBS.

It will be led by Wincasa CEO Beat Schwab. In London, Swiss national Joachim von Radecke will manage the relationship for Knight Frank.

Chris Bell, managing director of Europe at Knight Frank, said: “Switzerland is a country of great diversity, being home to substantial office and research corporates such as IBM, UBS, Credit Suisse, Google, Microsoft and eBay. Wincasa has a strong presence in the global financial hubs of Zurich and Geneva and an outstanding relationship with a variety of banks. Our relationship with Wincasa continues our strategy to expand our global service offering into core markets with the very best local partners.”

Knight Frank’s European business comprises 37 offices in 16 countries and employs more than 719 staff. The office opening is in response to client demand.

Wincasa AG is based in Winterthur, near Zurich.
