Salford City Council has named Knight Frank as manager for both 2 New Bailey Square and 100 Embankment.
The £160,000 contract was awarded for three years, with an optional extension for a further two years for both locations.
2 New Bailey Square is comprised of 188,000sq ft of grade-A office across 10 upper storeys, together with ground floor retail and leisure space. Two occupiers, lawyers Eversheds Sutherland and Berrymans Lace Mawer, have occupied six-and-a-half of the floors, and marketing continues for the remaining space.
100 Embankment is a nine-storey, 166,000 sq ft grade-A office building, which forms the second and final phase of the Embankment development. It is located alongside 101 Embankment, which was completed in 2016. The council is forward funding the development and will own the completed building.
Under the agreement, Knight Frank is set to provide management services to occupiers, visitors and potential occupiers of both sites, while also maintaining a safe, clean and “attractive” environment in the buildings.
