Aberdeen developer Knight Real Estate has secured a 47,000 sq ft prelet for its redevelopment of the former ENI headquarters at Altens in Aberdeen.
AMEC has signed a five-year lease on three office buildings at the newly branded Quattro Business Park, at a quoted rent of £16 per sq ft.
The developer is undertaking an internal refurbishment to prepare the building for the construction firm, who move into the property in July.
Knight purchased oil company ENI’s site with Glasgow-based developer LTL Property Investments for more than £5m in March.
James Barrack, managing director of Knight, said: “The site is in a prime, well sought after area.
“We were sure it would make a very attractive development. AMEC has taken a lease on the available office accommodation leaving the remaining warehouse/office facility for separate lease.”
FG Burnett and Graham & Sibbald advised Knight and LTL on the acquisition. AMEC was represented by Ryden.
