Koba hires operations boss from Industrious

Flexible workspace operator Koba has appointed Taylor Farrimond as head of operations following its entry into the UK flex sector. Farrimond joins Koba from Industrious, where he was general manager of operations for the EU and UK, managing 12 locations and leading teams across six European cities. Farrimond will be tasked with establishing the Koba brand in the UK and building a team, with a view to opening three to four sites a year in the UK’s major cities. Koba is set to launch its first UK venture at AEW’s 100 Barbirolli Square in Manchester in Q4 this year. It will span two floors, totalling 30,000 sq ft.  Paul Nellist, managing director at Koba, said: “Having extensive experience of overseeing multiple UK and EU flex locations, in addition to the drive and dynamism to create positive change, Taylor was the ideal fit for this strategic role.”
