Kolektif House signs for first UK space

Kolektif House, the largest flexible workspace operator in the Middle East and North Africa, has taken 4,500 sq ft of office space at the Kensington Arcade, W8, from AshbyCapital.

This is the first move into UK space for the firm, which has 17 locations and 400,000 sq ft under operation in Turkey. It will occupy a self-contained unit on Kensington High Street, with 240 sq ft of space on the ground floor and 4,290 sq ft of first-floor space.

The location will be the first in Kolektif House’s portfolio to trial an autonomous, app-driven workspace concept – called Kolektif Mini – and will form part of part of plans to build a network of mini locations around the “urban villages” of London and further afield in the UK.

The news comes shortly after the completion of AshbyCapital’s development of The Kensington Building. AshbyCapital acquired the site in 2019, creating the 130,000 sq ft mixed-use office and retail development in partnership with Janson Urban, with design by Pilbrow & Partners.

Agents for The Kensington Arcade are Savills and Nash Bond. Produktiv represented Kolektif House. The agents for The Kensington Building are Cushman & Wakefield and EiA Real Estate.
