Korean barbecue restaurant Kiji has secured space at 60 Curzon in Mayfair, W1, for its UK debut.
The restaurant has taken 8,000 sq ft in the building on a 20-year lease, with the opening planned for 2026.
The eight-storey luxury residential building, completed in June last year, comprises 32 flats, 50% of which have been sold.
The property is owned by Hong Kong-based investment firms Citic Capital and Cindat Capital Management.
Asset management of 60 Curzon has recently been taken over by a team at Kingbridge and backed by a board of members in the property and finance sectors, including the founders of Valouran.
Charles Leigh, director at Kingbridge, said: “This is another exciting chapter in the history of the icon that is 60 Curzon, and we are honoured to be involved in this moment: this team’s first foray into the UK after their outstanding successes globally. Not only are we welcoming a world-renowned restaurant into the development, but we are also paying tribute to the extraordinary legacy that came before.”
Distrkt and Matta.London acted on the deal.
