KPMG’s real estate advisory chairman, Stephen Barter, is leaving the business to pursue a portfolio career.
Barter, who has been chairman since March 2012, left the business on 31 March this year.
Commenting on his departure, Barter said: “It has been a terrific experience helping to build KPMG’s broader real estate franchise both domestically and internationally.
“In recent years, I have often been asked to consider involvements and participations with other organisations, which will now be possible. I also look forward to continuing to support KPMG where I can.”
Andy Pyle, UK head of real estate, said: “We are truly grateful for Stephen’s commitment to KPMG and his contribution to the development of our real estate business.”
