KTC wins consent for 10,275 sq m food factory on Automotive Components Park, West Midlands

The Black Country Development Corporation has granted planning consent for a food factory on a 3.7ha (39.8 acre) site at Moorcroft Park near Wednesbury, West Midlands.

KTC (Edibles) intends to relocate from its existing unit at Friar Park Road in Wednesbury into the 10,275 sq m (110,603 sq ft) new unit. This will comprise 2,335 sq m (25,134 sq ft) of industrial space, 7,010 sq m (75,457 sq ft) of storage space, and 929 sq m (10,000 sq ft) of offices.

Moorcroft Park, which forms part of the Automotive Component Park, has already attracted Precision Steel onto the 6.5ha (16 acre) site.
