L&G and NFU to fund £40m retail scheme in Reading

Legal & General and NFU Mutual have agreed to fund a £40m retail park in Reading.

Development partners Salmon Harvester Properties and Reading Council are proposing an 18,580 sq m (200,000 sq ft) retail park which will be anchored by a 9,290 sq m (100,000 sq ft) B&Q warehouse. The retail element will help fund a new 25,000-seat football stadium.

Morgan Loggie and King Sturge acted for NFU and L&G, while Mason Drage advised Salmon Harvester.
