Odeon and Premier Inn have agreed contracts to open at Legal & General’s St Stephens Place complex in Trowbridge, Wiltshire.
The contracts for the seven-screen cinema and 80-bed hotel means Legal & General Property can now begin the regeneration of the town centre brownfield site.
The land has been dormant since the mid 1990s, and with construction now due imminently, the cinema and hotel are expected to open in October 2013.
Tim Russell, senior asset manager at Legal & General Property, said: “We are delighted to now be in a position where we can deliver this vital leisure regeneration of the town centre. In addition to having now finalised the arrangements for the cinema and hotel, I can confirm there has been a strong level of interest from operators who wish to occupy the restaurant space.”
