Manchester-based Spanish restaurant chain La Tasca has opened a second Manchester restaurant and another in Leicester as it rolls out a 30-outlet expansion programme.
Advised by Manchester-based Brady Chartered Surveyors, La Tasca has taken a unit at 49-51 Granby Street, Leicester, with a140 sq m (1,500 sq m) ground floor sales area.
The 25-year lease shows a rent of £65,000 pa. They have also signed for unit R7A in the Orient Mall at Peel Holdings Trafford Centre, Manchester. The gross area is 59.2 sq m (636 sq ft) with the rental undisclosed.
The La Tasca tapas chain plans to have 30 outlets up and running across the UK in the next couple of years. The 15-strong chain is expanding with a £13m debt-financing package.
La Tasca opened its first site in Manchesters Deansgate eight years ago, rapidly becoming a mecca for the citys soccer stars and media types.
