The Labour party will prioritise the construction of more council homes and regulation of the private rental market, Jeremy Corbyn said.
The crisis of housing and setting in train a programme to build more council homes as well as proper regulation of the private rental sector is a very high priority, Corbyn said.
The party is targeting a million homes over a five-year period, half of which should be council houses.
