Gambling giant Ladbrokes is examining options to expand and move to new 100,000 sq ft offices in and around the M25.
The bookmakers has appointed Jones Lang LaSalle to conduct a feasibility study on whether it should move from its 70,000 sq ft Harrow, north west London head office and call centre further out in the Western corridor.
Based at 1960s building Imperial House, owned by a private landlord since 2006, a raft of Ladbrokes’ subsidiaries will see their leases expire at the building in mid 2013.
“The building is quite dated and a lease expiry would give Ladbrokes the perfect opportunity to get something fresher that would better represent its brand name,” said one source.
A larger head office would fit with Ladbrokes’ expansion plans, including 40 new format stores this year, following the opening of 29 new shops in 2011.
All parties declined to comment.
