Up to 700 jobs could be lost following the merger of Ladbrokes and Gala Coral, or around half the combined total number of roles.
Ladbrokes is closing its HQ in northwest London, where 1,000 staff are based. The joint HQ will be located in Stratford.
The companies agreed to sell around 400 betting shops in order to get regulatory approval for the deal.
