Lader joins Executive Offices as non-executive director

Executive Offices Group (EOG) has appointed Philip Lader, a senior adviser to Morgan Stanley, to its board as a non-executive director.

Philip Lader

Lader is a former US ambassador to the UK and non-executive chairman of WPP Group.

EOG, which is owned by Morgan Stanley, has a portfolio of serviced offices in the UK across three brands: Argyll, Palladia and Corpnex.

The group will enter the international serviced office market with an Argyll centre opening in Paris this September.

Morgan Stanley bought the serviced office provider for more than £220m in July 2005.

EOG confirmed last month that it was planning to sell seven of its 13 freehold office buildings in central London on a sale and  leaseback basis.
