Brixton Estate has appointed Louise Patten to its main board as a non-executive director with effect from 1 June 2001.
Lady Patten, aged 47 and wife of former education minister John Patten, is a non-executive director of Somerfield, Hilton Group and Great Universal Stores.
Patten will be a member of Brixton’s audit committee, remuneration committee and the nomination committee.
Allan Gormly, chairman of Brixton, commented: “Louise Patten’s experience across a broad range of companies will be extremely valuable to Brixton. We are delighted to welcome her to the board.”
