Lambert Smith Hampton appoints Neil McShane as Ireland managing director

Lambert Smith Hampton has appointed Neil McShane as its managing director for Ireland.

McShane (pictured above, right) will rejoin the commercial property consultancy as part of a new management structure for the business, including the agency’s chairman in Ireland, Keith Shiells (left), and head of property management, Gary Nesbitt (centre).

He comes to the company with 20 years’ experience as a chartered surveyor in commercial property consultancy.

McShane began his career at Lambert Smith Hampton in the professional services department, where he specialised in valuations and lease advisory. Following this he became a director in the agency’s capital markets team, where he worked on investment acquisitions and disposals across the UK and Ireland.

He spent 16 years at the company before leaving to start his own niche commercial property consultancy, Inprio, in 2018.

Shiells said: “Neil is well known and respected in the commercial property market, and we have watched with interest over the past five years as he used the experience he gained with us to create a successful business of his own.

“We are delighted that he will be coming back to lead our team in Belfast, and I look forward to supporting and working closely with him as he builds on our already successful business.”
