Land Securities has appointed Kevin Duffy as centre director of Cabot Circus in Bristol.
Duffy, 44, has worked in the retail and property industry for over 20 years.
His previous experience has been gained at a raft of shopping centres including Meadowhall in Sheffield, Liffey Valley in Dublin and most recently as project centre manager at the £1.4bn Westfield Stratford City scheme. Duffy also spent seven years as centre director at Westfield Derby, a £340m mixed-use scheme that opened in 2007.
Duffy will represent Cabot Circus in the region, maintain relationships with key stakeholders, retailers and business development within the scheme.
Duffy said: “I am delighted to accept the role of centre director at Cabot Circus, a development that has literally changed the face of Bristol city centre. The chance of working with over 220 diverse retailers and living in such an exciting city, with natural assets like the waterfront coupled with a vibrant culture and community, was an opportunity I could not refuse.”
“I am very much looking forward to building on Bristol’s rising reputation in the retail market, and continuing the upward trend in footfall and sales that we have seen over the past year.”
