Land Securities’ Cardinal Place in London and the Kurt Geiger store at the Metquarter in Liverpool scooped the BCSC Gold awards for in-town retail last night.
Primark was also celebrating after picking up the retailer of the year award for the first time, while Manchester council received a BCSC Gold award for local authority partnership.
The awards jury commended Cardinal Place for the excellence of its integrated design of retail, residential, office, leisure and public realm space.
Overall there were 21 winners across seven categories.
