Land Securities has appointed a new Scottish retail operations director.
Nick Peel, formerly centre director of East Kilbride Shopping Centre, will be responsible for Land Securities’ retail operations in Scotland: East Kilbride, Glasgow; Almondvale, Livingston; and Bon Accord & St Nicholas, Aberdeen.
Peel, who joined LandSec in 2005, has more than 25 years experience in retail management including positions at John Menzies, Morrisons Supermarkets, Asda and Halfords.
David Smith, Regional Director for Land Securities in Scotland, said: “Since joining Land Securities in 2005, Nick has proven his talent for retail management and I’m confident he will guide the company to greater success in years to come.”
Peel said: “I intend to use my experience in retail and change management to help grow the company’s reputation as the number one property management operator.”
