LandSec confirms New Street Square letting

Land Securities has confirmed that it has exchanged contracts with law firm Speechly Bircham for a 77,126 sq ft pre-let at its New Street Square development on New Fetter Lane, EC4. Speechly Bircham will make 6 New Street Square its new UK head office, occupying floors 1-7 of the building at £53.50 per sq ft on a 15 year term. 6 New Street Square is part of the 730,000 sq ft mixed-use scheme, designed by Bennetts Associates, which replaces an assortment of post war office blocks with four contemporary office buildings, all of which open onto a new landscaped central square lined by shops and cafes. The letting to Speechly Bircham follows the letting of 2 and 3 New Street Square to Deloitte and 5 New Street Square to Taylor Wessing.
