Landsec investment director Rob Jewell has left after a decade at the landlord to head up Spain-based Axis Retail’s new UK office.
Jewell has joined the boutique investor and asset manager, which is the Generali Group’s shopping centre investment arm, as its managing director for the UK.
A former professional rugby player, Jewell joined Landsec as an asset manager in 2011 and was promoted several times during his time at the firm, latterly to investment director in 2019.
Before that, he trained at ING Real Estate Investment Management in 2006, working across funds as part of its investment team and in asset management, mainly focusing on Central London office and retail.
